Abstract aquarium backgrounds... cool!

Post by define999 »

Being a graphic designer, ive always lamented what seems to be the lack of cool, artistic aquarium backgrounds. I found a site that has some pretty neat ones.... Now I havent ordered any, but check them out.... doing somthing different for sure....

That's awesome. I really like the 3rd one on the main page. It looks like rocks with a rainbow. It would be great with a cichlid tank.

Please let me start this by asking for forgiveness.....If you put those backgrounds on a tank full of Triggers would you end up with a bunch of Picasso Triggers?

Who knows? Hopefully they will get some hits from here.... The thing is they are doing somthing different, and kudos to that! If you go through the links to all the different backgrounds they are quite unique.... Picasso triggers! :D Thats funny DadoF4! Maybe they could be taught realism, or pop art?

Something my fiance and I did a couple years ago was create a asian themed goldfish tank. We had bamboo and a neat asian peice of decoration. I had a background printed with a geisha under a blossming tree. Unfortunantly when we moved we gave the goldfish to her mother.... I wish there were more choices for backgrounds, instead of the same old aquascapes........

Wow, those are really cool. Although I'd paint one myself before I bought one.
And on my tanks, I don't need backgrounds, since my room is painted like the ocean :D

Wow!!! Thank you so much for the truly wonderful comments.

The truth is, I started the website a few months ago, for the same reasons Define999 stated, I couldn't believe that people had 3 options for aquarium backgrounds since the 1970s. Black, blue and realist underwater scene. lol We have been amazed at the response and were just blown away when we found you chatting about it.

So anyways, we really really need some fantastic new photos of tanks with Abstract Aquarium Backgrounds for our website and for our new promotional materials. We came up with the idea of giving up to 2 people from Puffer Forum custom backgrounds at cost (we just give to you for what it costs us to make it.. roughly 50% off) in exchange for some totally rocking photos of the tank and your permission to use the photos on our website and in our promo stuff. 8)

If anybody is interested, please send me an e-mail at william@abstractaquariumbackgrounds.com. We can even help you pick out a background if need be and we always try to find the perfect balance- enhance the background without taking away from the natural beauty of your fish! :D

Thanks again! I can't wait to learn a little more about Puffers on this forum. They really are amazing!

Cheers-

William
