Feeding time Problems

Post by blondenblue »

My Reticularis is a greedy little beast, he is about 6" and i was wondering if anyone could advise me of the best way to segregate him at feeding time? I know that your not sposed to net puffers but after a little accident at feeding time tonight (my stars and stripes got bitten) i am gonna have to separate him till the others have eaten to prevent any more injuries, just dont quite know how to go about it. any ideas would be appreciated.

You could feed them on either sides of the tank. Sometimes Elvis will get greedy so I get my long (plastic) tongs and block him. It works pretty good.

Enlist help and feed the Reticularis at one end of the tank and the rest of the crew at the other end of the tank?

Hmmm, how about getting little dishes and putting them in the tank with the food in them. If you put them all over the tank in different places there should always be a free one for the other puffer to go to.
