The last few days, Paris has been demanding food more often and eating larger meals than normal. I'm thinking she's in a growth spurt or something.
Yesterday while I was eating dinner she was begging begging begging.. Ryan had fed her in the morning, but I went and got out a shrimp for her and fed it after we got done eating and it had thawed. She inhaled it and was looking for more, normally she can't eat a full shrimp by herself and afterwords goes and lays in her corner to digest. This time, she kept swimming around obviously hunting for some more to eat, examining everything, sticking her head into rocks, etc. She NEVER does this! Generally, she lays around or begs for food, or swims frantically in a panic.. her way of getting exercise. She never focuses and "hunts".
At that point I realized Sally, the maroon clownfish, hadn't come out for dinner. Now, Paris is scared of Sally even though she could eat her with one bite, its all about attitude you know
So now, its been 12 hours and not a sign of Sally.. either she's being smart and not venturing out of the rocks or Paris got her... They've been living together with no issues for over a year now, but I guess its true, you can never trust a puffer!
