Hi guys

Could anyone help me ID this puffer.

Milk spotted Puffer? Chelonodon Platoca? maybe

Its up for private sale.

the info provided are as follows:

1 currently resides in a marine tank
2 had it for 2 months
3. 8-10 cm in length

das it.. hehe

it looks a little like a MBU to be but if its in marine then i guess its not. I Hope someone can sucessfully ID it for you soon!

it does look like it doesnt it?

but will it survive in marine for 2 months?

also, ive never seen mbu in OZ it is illegal ere... but sometimes as u know a few gets through...

if it is.. imma jump on it..! haha

Looks like a Tetractenos sp., likely Tetractenos glaber.
A forum and Net search will bring you more pictures to compare and additional information.
It's a marine puffer that travels into rivers.

It looks so much like a Mbu, though. Specifically this pic:

Ignoring the bold colours of the Mbu pic, it has almost an identical face structure, markings, and tail. It would probably be much easier to tell what it is in person. ^_^

No, not yet.
It still has to be printed in German. Layout is not finished.
