brackish to fresh

Post by illinibruin »

I have a 10 gallon which i was hoping to stock with a single fig8 but there is no stores in central illinois that carry them, all they have is gsp, so now i am thinking about switching to fresh and getting like 3 or 4 dwarf puffers. If anyone knows where to get a fig8 in central Illinois i would love to know becuase i have tried everywhere and is there any tips on changing over, my sg is only 1.003 so i doubt the bacteria will be harmed

a 10 gallon isn't big enough for a figure 8. If you go with dwarf puffers, you're maxed out at 3, some would say 2.

Hmmm.... I guess you no longer need to know how to switch the tank over to FW, eh?

No problem, just razzing you a bit. Hope all worked out OK and that the little ones are settling in with no issues. :)
