I think i read somewhwre that they can be sexed quite easily. Is it possible to breed them? Has anyone done it?

My female killed the other 2 females in with her (guess she didn't like competition). She then spawned with her male 3x, before killing him. As far as I could tell the eggs never hatched, although I did make sure there was microscopic food available to them. The fry would have been so small, I don't think I could have seen them with the naked eye.
