How aggressive are your GSP

Currently I have 2 GSP - Bud at 2 in. and Junior at 1.25 in. They get along well other than a little bullying at feeding time. Junior does the bullying. I got Bud first and never had any trouble putting my hand in the tank with him. Junior I have always had to watch- he did nip me once right after feeding them (I probably had shrimp on my hand and Junior is afraid of nothing). Tonight after they were fed-using tweezers- I put my hand it to move some food stuck on a plant to the bottom for the 2 flounder they share the tank with. I didn't touch the food- I just grabbed the plant to shake it. Bud made a beeline for my hand- he didn't get me but this is the first time he ever did that. I think Junior is teaching him bad habits. When they get big I might need a glove like the divers wear when feeding sharks to do tank maintenance.

My bigger GSP about 0.75in (Puffo) is definitely more docile than my 0.5 inch (Mini). I had a 1inch silver molly in with them before, but the molly kept bullying them, so I took the molly out. I put in some juvenile mollies, then just yesterday I saw Mini eat one of them.

At the moment, my 1.5" Gsps are not aggressive towards each other at all. They will bite my fingerd if i hand feed them, but it doesnt bother me that much at the moment cos it doesnt hurt. I might change my mind as they grow bigger

Mine will chase each other occasionally, esp. around feeding time, but nothing serious. They nip my fingers too sometimes when I put my hand in. But after a nip or two they figure out I'm not food and stop. I think it's cute.

my 1.5inch chases my 3inch sometimes, but there's never been any nips... they're quite friendly ! 3inches was more... agressive when he was alone

Mine is by herself, so I don't know how she would be with other fish. With me, she's actually a little on the timid side, taking a while before she gets the courage to come up to my fingers for food. She nips at me when I feed her, but I'm sure that's just because she can't tell for sure where the food ends and my fingers begin. When I stick my hand in the tank for maintenance or whatever, she is the opposite of aggressive: she runs off and hides.

I saw him bite a mollie one time. I'm pretty sure it was an accident because she got between him and his shrimp

I found that my Shuo is fine with fish that are not GSPs. I've had him with inverts, and with lionfish, and with clownfish, and all sorts of critters, the only one that bothered him was the other little GSP I had with him (who, unfortunetly, died due to stress caused by Shuo). Shuo loves to get my attention, but if I don't take care of him properly (pay attention to him, feed him when he wants to be fed) he'll be really mean and ignore me until a few days (and special feedings) later. Lol. Right now he's in with a 1" Sea Hare and he's totally ignoring him. I figure that as long as I avoid any fish that looks like him i'll be ok.

My littlest GSP, Tucker, is a mean bugger, nips fins on occasion. Shakespeare and Jillybean are pretty gentle except during feeding.

so are mine. even though i've only had them for about 8 months now. i have them in a 55 gal tank. 2 GSP and 2 fig 8's ya ya ya i know thats a no no but so far i havent had problems. i even have a couple guppy fry in there with them that i thought they would chase around and gobble up but nope. they have been in there for a bout a month now and they all get along.

My 2 are about 3" each and they are pretty peaceful with each other. Puffalicious is the younger one and his belly changes color a lot so I think he is more moody than Puffy, I have had him longer and he is PURE white all the time and never chases or acts like a brat ever... However, I have had some missing little fish in there so maybe when I am not looking is when they go on a rampage!

My observation of GSP is that in general, they are not natural piscivores, but they will take a "meal of opportunity" even if it is a small fish.

My GSP Shemp is Docile! right now there are 4 i counted Enormous ghost shrimp swimming with him! i hadnt seen them since i put them in there i figured Shemp had hunted them all down and eaten them. nope they are swimming around with him this morning they no longer fear him. Im not gonna be feeding shemp for a bit needless to say untill those shrimp are eaten.

My Elevator is a little wuss. He has managed to ignore a ghost shrimp in my tank for 6 months now, and now the shrimp is bigger than him. If he does not devour him soon, I will have the first recorded ghost lobster on the face of this planet.....
