Porcupine puffer help.

1. What type of marine life get a long with porcupine puffers, and what should i stay clear of?

2. What live coral is best recommended as i hear that porcupine puffers are known to destroy some species?

3. What base as in rocks (black sand/biological sand/white sand) is recommended?

4. What Temp and other things like nitrate/ph does the water need to be at for best results.

5. And Lastly, i'm looking for fish/other animals to help clean the glass/floor of the aquarium. I was looking at snails and crabs but again the puffer will probably end up eating them lol.

1. IME porcs are far more tolerable of tankmates than any other puffer. I've kept porcs with dwarf angels, angels, tangs, wrasse (reef safe and fish only) clowns, and a few other types with no problems. The only fish I ever had a problem with were tiny (less than an inch) damsels which were a nice puffer snack.
2. Porcs seem more tolerable than other puffs too, just stick to cheaper corals so you don't waste much money if you have a porc that likes them.
3.Anysand is fine, the live rock will seed it and make it live. Just FYI the stuff that says live sand (With water in it) isn't live at all, it's a waste of money, don't get it.
4. Nitrate as close to zero, Nitrite and Ammonia always at zero, Ph around 8. But fish can adjust to a stable PH.
Temperature about 76-80 is good.
5. My porc has yet to eat my crabs so yiou might be lucky too.

What size tank are you planning on?

One other question. I see what they eat. Was wondering what you feed him/her? and where do you purchase.

Mostly earthworms, from my backyard. She loves peas and broccoli and most other veggies though.
