sounds to me like he needs to remove the niger or he will probably have problems in the future if he tries to add anything else.

"Sad" pretty much describes RC. I detest that site.

I spend most of my time on my local reef club forum there.

I don't think that combining for a school of dogface puffers would be that good. Although I've never observed dogfaces in the wild (they don't really make out to Hawaii), i have seen plenty of Guineafowl puffers. When i see them while snorkeling or scuba, i only see them singularly or in pairs. They also aren't very dense, generally a few minutes of swimming time between each. But interestingly enough, they don't keep well defined territories, but the toby puffers do. Toby puffers, most likely because of size, are more closely distributed and, once again, are found in pairs or singularly. Male territories often contain one to four female territories, in which they visit each female daliy!

i also read! :giggle:

John Hoover has a new book out: the ULTIMATE guide to hawaiian reef fishes

i want to get Randall's books, but his are more expensive. Hoover's was only $20, but it was on sale down from $25.

great pics and info, the cover has a pic of a green turtle with yellow tangs nipping at stuff on the turtle.

but ya, i go snorkeling a lot too. still haven't seen a wild golden guineafowl puffer.
