And here we go, the November Puffer of the Month competition!!!

Vote for your favorite puffer photo, you have 10 days to get your vote in and may change your vote anytime within those 10 days. The puffer with the most votes will win the November competition and be entered into the 2008 Puffer of the Year contest, which will be held mid-January '09.

And remember, there's only one more month left to get your entries in to be eligible for this year's POTY, and 5 of the 10 spots are already taken, so get your December entries in now!

-Name: Spots-Species: Canthigaster solandri -Age: Unknown-Size : 2 1/2"-Location: Lives in my marine tank with a Picasso Trigger, an Arothron reticularis, 2 gobies, crabs & Shrimps

Entry #2:
This is a wild Canthigaster jactator.
It was about an inch and a half long and lives in Hanauma Bay.
This was the best behaving Hawaiian toby that day and seemed to enjoy having his picture taken.

Species: Tetraodon nigroviridis (GSP)
- Name of Puffer : Cheech
- Age: Approx. 2 years
- Size: Approx. 3.5"
Cheech lives with his twin brother Chong and is other brother Elvis, other tank mates are Daisy (snowflake eel), Blenny (lawnmower blenny) & Hoover (rainbow wrasse)

- Species: Tetraodon Nigroviridis (Green Spotted Puffer)
- Age: unknown
- Size: 1.5"

Species - Tetraodon nigroviridis
Name of Puffer - Santa's little helper, fishy elf number 1, Bonzo
Age - Had him about 13 months, was about 3/4 of an inch when I bought him.
Size - approx 3 3/4" inc. tail
Brief description - Deck the halls with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la la la la la. Tis the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la la la la la.

- Name of Puffer: Mister Puffer

- Size: 6”
- Brief description: Our first saltwater fish – we bought a 90gal tank and set it up just for him! Put him on hold at the LFS while the tank was getting ready. We visited him just about every week for 8 weeks! He’s as friendly as any puppy! We love him!

- My first puffer, who very nearly died due to my ignorance but after finding TPF and a battle, i got him better and he's been with me ever since... I've had him now for a year and a half. :0)

Ahhh! The cuteness of the dragging the food away picture! I was looking for that one to show to my friend.

Did you notice all the entries this month are puffers with dots? All of them, including the porcs, have them! :idea:

Haha how observant! I would never have noticed that. :lol: What's that little smily at the end of your first line? I feel really stupid. Like it should be obvious but I'm just not seeing it. :redface:
