I have a 55 tank and there is a slim film on the bottom of the tank and my prffer has a slim film on himm with small bubbles in the slim film. Can someone please give me a advice i have already lost one puffer
1) Your water parameters - pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrates and salinity
I use Tetra 5 in 1 strips fore testing
not sure what the ammonia is
ph - 8.2
nitrite 0
nitrite 0
salinity 32
Specific Gravity 1.024
2) Tank size and a list of ALL inhabitants.
60 gallon tank with 1. a dog face puffer which was add two weeks ago until my tank finished cycling, 1. Striped Burrfish he was alive swing around when I went to bed and deid when i got up) 1 Porcupine Puffer he doing pretty bad
3. Feeding, water change schedule and a list of all products you are using or have added to the tank
feed him one to two a day dryed krill that I soak in tank water, change water 15% every two weeks (when I change the water I up the ph with API ph up) I buy water from my local pet salt lvl is normal low so I add half of cup of instant ocean, to get to salinity 32 Specific Gravity 1.024
4> two weeks ago I add new puffer, two days ago I got new water to start adding to tank. the Porcupine Puffer puffer stop swimming around when the new puffer was added.
5) How long the aquarium has been set up, and how did you cycle it
tank has been set up for three months I cycle for month and a half using Damsels(damsel are live and still swimming in a new tank)

Since this board has been up, we have found there are several questions that routinely get asked in order to help diagnose problems. If you can have that information to begin with in your post, we'll be able to help right away (if we can!) without having to wait for you to post the info we need.

2) Tank size and a list of ALL inhabitants. Include algae eaters, plecos, everything. We need to know what you have and how big the tank is.
3) Feeding, water change schedule and a list of all products you are using or have added to the tank (examples: Cycle, Amquel, salt, etc)
4) What changes you've made in the tank in the last week or so. Sometimes its the little things that make all the difference.
5) How long the aquarium has been set up, and how did you cycle it? If you don't know what cycling is read this: Fishless Cycling Article and familiarize yourself with all the information. Yes. All of it.
We want to help, and providing this information will go a LONG way to getting a diagnosis and hopeful cure that much faster.
While you wait for assistance:
One of the easiest and best ways to help your fish feel better is clean water! If you are already on a regular water change schedule (50% weekly is recommended) a good step to making your fish more comfortable while waiting for diagnosis/suggestions is to do a large water change immediately. Feel free to repeat daily or as often as you can, clean water is always a good thing! Use of Amquel or Prime as a dechlor may help with any ammonia or nitrite issues, and is highly recommended.
Note - if you do not normally do large water changes, doing a sudden, large water change could shock your fish by suddenly changing their established water chemistry. Clean water is still your first goal, so in this case, do several smaller (10%) water changes over the next day or two before starting any large ones.

I'm not sure how large your fish are but all those fish as adults will need about 300g. Did you QT any of these fish? It sounds like you haven't. It also sounds like your tank is not cycled. How much live rock/sand is in there? I'd do a 50% water change ASAP & continue that for a week.

1st, test strips are incredibly inaccurate. Bring a water sample to your LFS and get it checked out, and invest in liquid kits.
2nd) THat tank is much to small for those 3 (or even just the 2) puffers, even if all are stillyoung. How big are they now?
You really need to upgrade them ASAP or it might be best to bring them to your LFS and get something more appropriate for that tank.
Krill is not very good food for puffers (especially porcs) It can cause lockjaw which will ultimately lead to the death of your puffer.
Also in a marine tank (or just about any tank for that matter) you should not add PH altering chemicals. You could be having PH swings and not realizing it. Fish readily adjust to a stable PH but a changing PH is not good for them!
Make sure to quarantine all new additions! It is very possible your new fish brought something into the tank
I'd do a large 50%+ water change and see if it helps.
