GSP in Marine with clamped fin on right side

One of my two GSP's has been cruising around today showing some signs of stress and has the fin on his right side clamped.


1) Your water parameters - pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrates and salinity (if appropriate). This is by far the most important information you can provide! Do not answer this with "Fine" "Perfect" "ok", that tells us nothing. We need hard numbers.
Parameters
pH, unknown, going to get a kit soon.
Ammonia, zero
Nitrite, zero
Nitrate, ~10-20 based on the test kit.... kit indicates water from tap is in the range of 10
salinity, 1.23

2) Tank size and a list of ALL inhabitants. Include algae eaters, plecos, everything. We need to know what you have and how big the tank is.
Size = 55
inhab = 2 gsp (1.5-2inches) 1 dragon goby (~4 inches) 4 hermits, 3 of the snails that live under the sand ( cant recall name) and two of the black shelled snails that eat on the glass all day... and a starfish (chocolate chip)...oh and a coral banded shrimp

3) Feeding, water change schedule and a list of all products you are using or have added to the tank (examples: Cycle, Amquel, salt, etc)
Feeding a rotating mix of mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, blood worms, and marine cuizine all frozens... also the occational snails snack of nuisance snails

Products - Salt(Instant Ocean)
Used Joe's Juice the other day to curb a nasty aphasia outbreak which are now coming back

Water changes - 25% a week

4) What changes you've made in the tank in the last week or so. Sometimes its the little things that make all the difference.

I added some tuffa rock about a week ago.

5) How long the aquarium has been set up, and how did you cycle it? If you don't know what cycling is read this: Fishless Cycling Article and familiarize yourself with all the information. Yes. All of it.

This aquarium has been up for about 2.5 weeks. It was cycled using the sand and live rock from the 30 gallon I upgraded from.

The problem that i see is that the more active of my two puffers is swimming around with one fin clamped to his side. He also shows slight stress lines on his mouth and the top of his stomach, while when i come near the glass they both freak out and turn white waiting for food.

On closer inspection he isn't doing the clamped fin all the time, but its a 50/50 thing one minute its not moving, then he uses it a little, then back to clamped.

Also, one of the smaller chucks of dead coral in my tank (a bulb looking thing about the size of a softball) has been displaced from the top of a pile of rocks I dont know if its relevant, but possibly it hit him as it fell and so hes just a little sore right now?

Any suggestions would be helpfull

Try taking a flashlight to look at his gills, especially the side with the clamped fin.

Its weird, gill looks like it has normal functionality, and he is using the fin continuously now, My apologies for the scare sound in my message, it was just weird to see this behavior.
