i would go through the classified forum. There are always postings from online dealers and they are pretty realiable for the most part. Try aquabid.com they usually have something and I believe there is a recourse option like ebay if they try to screw you over.

I tried buying online once - wouldn't do it again (everything dead and no refund)!

Your LFS can normally order in the fish that you want?

One thing to look for in an online site is a guarantee. I would not buy from a site that didn't guarantee live, healthy fish...

They offered a guarantee.

They offered to send some more fish but we would have to pay the postage again!! Obviously we refused because firstly we didn't want any more fish to die and secondly it was absolutely ridiculous for them to expect us to pay the postage a second time round and they refused to give us a refund.

The postage cost £45 because we could only take deliveries on Saturdays (we both work).

Face to face is better because you have someone to go back to when it all goes wrong and you get the benefits of knowing how well they look after their fish.

i dont like buying fish on website even tho guarantee arrival but can they gurantee no sick fish arrival?Best way to shop for any fish is to go LFS near you. that way you can observe and find the one you want out of many to choose from. You can also spot any sickness right away.
