Black Pacus are ]V[onsters, they get huge. It's a shame, most ones that are sold in the hobby are severly stunted or end up at a public aquarium.

One of my LFS said they only get as large as a silver $ :rant: .

Sad... Yeah, Wal-Mart said that red-belly pacus only get to like 8''.

Other than the hair, I don't see the resemblance as much.
