GSP 75 gallon

Ok, would 2 GSP go in a 75 gallon? Right now i have a few colombian sharks that im thinking of bring back to the fish store. Only thing that sucks is that i know that someone else will buy these fish and slap thim in a 10 gallon FW tank and wine "why did my fishes die?" Anyway, I just dont want a empty 75 gallon tank. I have had 1 fish tanks for so long, it would be nice to have 2 in a tank lol
I had just down graded from a 139 gallong with a dovii (grow out tank) to just the BW 75 gallon.
Anyway, what would be a nice stock list for a puffer in a 75 gallon tank?

Two GSPs will work just fine in a 75g.

That would work fine, you could even go with some other fish, like a goby.

what does a CS need for tank space?
GSPs need a minimum of 30g each, so would be great in there.
I was just thinking you might be able to keep a CS if their bioload won't overpower the remaining 15-20gallons.
don't they get about 18" though?

They grow at least a foot, but can grow up to two feet.

thank u, i will get 2 GSP tuesday i think. They or small, about 2" and in freshwater at the fish store. I only have my brackish at 1.005 or so, so it sould not be a problem.
What would be a good staple food for the GSP? im thinking shrimp and things or just a treet to keep there teeth in check right?
Also, the CS will get to a foot to 2 feet and or fast growers. They also like to swim in wide open places so im not going to be able to house them at that size.

Frozen bloodworms, clams, and snails are good foods. My GSPs go crazy for the bloodworms. The occasional gut-loaded ghost shrimp are good for treats as well.

The snails and clams will help with puffer's teeth.

ok, i live in east tn and have a hard time finding shell fish. Could you guys give me an ex. of your feedings? Like what do u feed these guys every day, and what and how often do u give them the shell fish. Im just wating to get all my basses coverd before i get them home. now what im getting in to be fore i jump in again..

Prawn or clam(most muscle removed) everyday (some people skip one day a week) and snails whenever he's begging and I feel generous... maybe like four a week.
then occasionally I feed crab if it's on sale, crayfish, ghost shrimp, or whatever...

They sure do!

I alternate days with frozen bloodworms, clams, and snails. With the clams (as Jase said), I learned from the good folks here...remove most of the meat and leave the muscle that is attached to the shell. It's amazing how clean the shell gets. The puffers scrape their teeth on the shell.

For snails, with small puffers you might have to crush the snails before giving it to them. Some puffers will know how and just attack the shell right away. This will also help with their teeth.

well i was going to acclimate them in a small tank(29 gal) i have set up for fw with a few small fish in it that my brother will fish sit for me. Then i will add 1 tbls of salt per gal each week till i get it to were it needs to be..
Thanks for the info i will have to think on this couse im not sure were im going to get clams and we dont have prowns unless that is a shrimp, then were have that i can get...

Just put the fish with their FW in a bucket & use an airhose with a knot in it to drip the tank water into the bucket (1 drip/second), until it's the same SG as the water. Then add the fish directly to the tank.

I have 2 gsp in a 75g tank. also has a couple guppies in there which are super bright colored cuz of the brackish water

they get along perfectly fine, never any fin nipping or anything . and they are not the same size gsp and they did not come together - and still they get along well
