i got a new puffer :) *with photos* Baileyi

Post by indie »

Well, I was really naughty today. I bought a Tetraodon Baileyi...
He's about 4" or so. When the guy bagged him, he went nuts and bit a hole in the bag. So he re-bagged him and put blue tissue in the bag?
Anyway, he's only been in his new home for a couple of hours and he's sitting on the bottom looking a bit sad. I guess it takes them a while to adjust.
He's in a 25 gallon, which I got off my bro who's only just taken fish out of it, so should be all set to go.

The guy in the store said he was eating really well and he looks in real good shape. The only place I could find to put him was in my bedroom. But I had to move everything around first, which meant making a complete mess and moving the bed and bedside tables around so that i could put him next to my bed  My partner wasnt impressed!!!!

It took Annabelle until the next morning after being shipped over night to be relaxed. Now she knows who feeds her so as soon as I walk in she comes to the front of the tank. :D

Congrats on your new puffer. :D

Well, I can't guarantee how he might react to a big, growling dog!

I havent named him yet as I havent decided if he is a she! haha.

Well its the first fish tank where the dog has a view from her height, so I think she thought it was a bit freaky when the puffer suddenly started charging around the tank!
