Valentini Puffer and Wartskin Frogfish?

Just wondering if it can be done in a 34 gallon tank?

Did you check out the adult size of the frogfish & minimum tank size? I did it in a 40g.

I am sure if the frogfish isnt aggressive it will work out as the valentini is a peacfull puff.

Frogfish are aggressive fish but they sit and wait in rocks to catch their prey by luring them in with their lure, but i think I'm going to do a species only take with the frogfish my safest bet.

Yeah the Wartskin frogfish (max 4-5 inches) requires a min. 20 gallon tank. The only problem would be if he would eat the puffer?

If you kept him well fed (but not overfed) It wouldn't be much of a problem.

Are anglers strictly carnivores? can they be switched to frozen foods?
I've always wanted one too
I'll probably end up researching them more, but am feeling pretty lazy right now

You can switch them to frozen but it can be a problem. When I had mine it took frozen great, then I fed him a fish that was to big (and spooked him, it was weird and hard to explain) and after that he stopped eating. They are awesome fish though, and work great in reef tanks apparently.

Mine happily ate small pieces of shrimp.
