Thats the first time he burrow under the substrates. As you can see he's camoflouge. He's a very curious arrowhead but i think all puffers are. Always check on what im doing. When there's guest at the house he'll definately go infront of the tank and study them. Otherwise he'll be in his home i.e cave.

Re: FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE:INTRODUCING CHEWY THE ARROWHEAD
have him for about a month now. Didnt post anything about him because wnat him to be healthy first. I couldnt resist on taking him home from the LFS. They charge $9 i was like WOW and the tank he was in is a 10 gal tank bare bottom. I had to reescue him and give him a proper home. He's currently 3.5 inch and my favorite puffer right now.

He is a strapping young fellow. Looks real good too and I love how he blends right into the substrate.

I bet he's really happy to have some sand! BB for a suvattii would be like me trying to sleep w/o a blanket.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

hehe..those are actually eco-complete substrate..the regular black ones. Every since he started to burrow. He can stay hidden for few hours.

Re: FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE:INTRODUCING CHEWY THE ARROWHEAD
Aww...he's awesome! Very cool!
I am jealous! I wanted to buy an arrowhead a couple weeks back, but I hesitated too much. When I went back to look at him, an old man was buying a two gallon tank with the suvattii for his five year old grand-daughter. Yikes!

Yeah, I should have...but he was buying everything the staff was telling him to. Not only are the staff not knowledgable about fish, but they don't know how to upsell either.

I adore puffers that burrow, its quite possibly one of the most adorable things a fish can do! hah.
