I really don't trust the strips. Get some liquid test kits & have your water tested while you're at the LFS. Always test before WC. Also, to make things really easy, you can just add the puffers to the big tank with some Bio-Spira in the filter.

they do not have bio spira over here. i will be docnverting to liquid tests after my 10 strips aredone.

Where are you based? In the uk we have Bactinettes which is similar to bio spira

Woah hold the phone, what is Bactinettes? I have never seen this before, does it work? Cause some like the one called "cycle" don't. But if this works, then great! I was really annoyed when I found out we couldn't get Bio-Spira. :lol:
