live plants better for fish tank?
I have a live plant in my tank and I wanted to know if live plants are better for the water than fake plants? I have 2 gsp's and wondered if live plants will help with water quality.

Are you having water quality issues?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Not really, I get algea growing on sides of tank. But I was wondering if the live plant gives off or takes in bad stuff for the water and fish.

It can help with some algae issues by eating the "food" algae eats. But it may be difficult to find many plants that will withstand the saltiness GSPs prefer.

Plants are very beneficial for any tank, but as PP noted, you won't find many plants that survive the salinity the T nigroviridis needs.
