Advice on an amazon puffer before I buy

i paid $18 for my first one and then i paid $22ea for my next five. They seem to be on the rare end of the spectrum so thats not uncalled for on price i don't think.

I've kept SAP's with kribs before with no problems. But Kribs are a pretty shy, small cichlid. I don't think they are really worth keeping though, because they hide all the time so what's the point. Hide and breed that is.. LOL

When I had my SAP's, there were MTS (the ice cream cone snails) in that tank. I never had any problems with broken teeth myself.

For tooth trimming, I agree, get some Finquil.. Clove Oil is a little risky.. my last SAP just didn't wake up from a tooth trimming one day, and I was using a reduced dose because the previous time he took a while to wake up.
