Re: CHECK THIS OUT
He is gorgeous. He should donate him to an aquarium so he can reach really huge sizes.

Re: CHECK THIS OUT
So gorgeous, what I wouldn't give to see a full grown A. mapa up close!
If I every go back to the dark side and do salty tanks I'll have another A. mapa...most beautiful fish I've ever owned I think.

Re: CHECK THIS OUT
interesting what he's saying about the scratches in the acrylic tank... who'd a thought a puffer could do that much damage!

Re: CHECK THIS OUT
That's a beautiful fish!
I realized that when I transferred Shelby to the 90 gallon, I used a plastic jug and she wasn't very happy, I heard her teeth bashing against the side of it(it seemed a bit like something out of free willy) so I can only imagine what a puffer that size could do to an acrylic tank when rushing to meet it's owner.t1gerbee wrote:interesting what he's saying about the scratches in the acrylic tank... who'd a thought a puffer could do that much damage!

Re: CHECK THIS OUT
Mappas are by far my favorite - I currently have (4), two with the usual tannish bodies and black markings, one gorgeous golden Mappa that looks even more golden than the one in the link and then (what I think) is one of the most rare Mappas I have seen. He is completely black with white markings - opposite of every other Mappa I have encountered...They sure are great!
