Shell on shrimp?

Post by JBurg »

Is the shell on shrimp enough to keep my fahaka puffer's teeth trimmed?

depends on the size. if hes a baby yes. If over 4+ inches i would recomend shell on cockle / mussle weven use new zeland green lip half shells when they take the mat they will wear there teet, apple snails also as occasional treat. i wouldnt recomend trumpet snails the shells are stupidly hard!

I would feed some very hard shelled foods like mussel and clams to be sure the teeth are kept trimmed.
