I have one juvenile Fahaka about 3'' long and I was wondering if there are any other fishes that I could put in with him. I have lots of African Cichlids but I removed them from the 90 gallon when I put my Fahaka in, for fear that they would get bitten. Has anyone had any success with companion species. Also, I once had an oscillated puffer. Would they fare well with a juvenile Fahaka?

most of the time fahakas will not tolerate tankmates, specially other puffers, but you can try really fast moving fish, as long as you don't get attached to them because they'll probably become lunch, but there are some people who've had success with tankmates

What about tetras? I've seen a few videos on youtube where Fahakas were housed with much smaller neon tetras, etc. The tetras moved in to pick off any scraps left over after the puffer ate. This would seem to be a decent idea? No?

check out the giant species forum and you will see a few threads in there that have the same title as yours. It will give you an idea of the different results people have had.
There seems to have been a surge in Fahaka purchases this summer. So there is a thread for just about anything you need to know about your new puffer in there.
