WOW! Biggest Burr Fish / Spinny Box I've ever seen!

Not exactly the best picture in the world ... but it was the best I could do without flash. We visited Jenkins Aquarium, down the shore, in south New Jersey. The place has been there forever - a small facility right on the boardwalk. Walked by it for 30 years, this weekend was the first time I actually went in! It was great!

A huge tank with about 6 BIG BURR - all about 10" to 12"! One not-so-happy Porc, but the rest of the guys were big, swimmy and having fun! Again, the rest of the pictures aren't the best - lots of signs, no flash, lots of people ... but take a look! http://www.sandeeland.com/photos/ - Aquarium Visits ...

I saw a 12"er at one of my LFS. Looked weird, all skinny, like that.

The biggest puffer I have ever seen in captivity is a Stars and Stripes that a LFS has that I regularly visit. He is 18 inches long easy and very much the House Pet. He did have a Porcupine Puffer in his place for a short time that was a good 15 inches and massively round to boot. :lol:
