about there food..

Post by Ruday »

Okay I got 10 gallon that I was going to put in some ghost shrimp and some snails so I can keep them stocked with food..
my question is what do snails eat I have seen the shrimp eat blood worms but what do the snails eat?

Okay another question first of all .The puffers aka Hover and copter like a helicopter :) Hover is the one that eats everything..they are doing fine I added a little more saltwater today to there tank and will do so next week but They will eat the shrimp I put in there cocktail shrimp not the live shrimp and they also eat the bloodworms I put in there .They are a little under 2in but how come they will not eat the snail they look at them and watch like they want to eat them but its like they dont understand that it is food or are they still to young to eat that kind of stuff and they haven't bother eating the live shrimp I put in baby ones that I know they could eat.

They have full bellys but I would like for them to eat they live food to besides just eating all the food I put in that is not.
I know snails are important thing in there diet. So how come they dont want to eat them?

There is an excellent snail article in our Library. I believe the shrimp will eat the snail eggs.
