I saw that and thought yeah, right, nice, fish flakes last a year or more in some households. I have to guess 2 months would be the short end of the shelf life. Today I read 6 months on one site and a year on another on shelf life for fish flakes. I'll go with 6 months I guess. Perhaps I'll try to soak my flakes in vitamins soon.

i havent used flake in months but now i kinda feel bad about my corys they lived a long time on flack in my old community tank ( the boring one with the angle fish some corys swards and tiger barbs )

My only concern with that page is that the same site also said that Figure 8's are pure freshwater fish
