F8Ps in a 15 Gallon community

I'm new to the puffer forum and in need of assistance.

I have a 15 gallon, well filtered aquarium with the following fish:
2x Angelfish (2" each)
2x German Rams (2" each)
Golden Dodjo Loach
Algae Eater and an Austrailian Blue Lobster

Would a Figure 8 puffer work here if I turned brackish

Nope puffers are fin nippers and would eat your angelfish's fins, and it would eat the lobster.
1 F8 needs 15 gallons alone, and right now your tank is overstocked to.

The recommended tank size for just the F8 is 15g. Your angels need a minimum of 20g ea. Read the F8 article in our Library.

I was gonna say the same, plus I thought angels needed way more, like 30-40 gallons each, cause they will get fairly big if you let them.

The other thing is that if you turn the tank brackish I don't think your fish would appreciate it much, plus your 15g at the moment is stocked with things that will outgrow that tank.

I will also give up the other angel if it means welcoming the puffer to a new home. Please help.

I suggest finding homes for evryone except the puffer. Perfect tank size for him & no other fish.

Definitely give up the remaining angel. Plecs are freshwater fish, and will be harmed long-term by being in brackish. Plus, I don't think any plec could live in a 15g. The lobster will likely be eaten by the puffer or will harm the puffer by grabbing it with its claws.

I don't know about the loach.

If you want a F8 in that 15g, it must be the only thing in that tank! Puffers are messy eaters, and they are notoriously aggressive, especially if they don't have enough room.

Well Update from yesterday, I was very busy, but I've done it....

I'm the new proud owner of 2 DPs in my newly roomy 15 Gallon. I say roomy cause these cuties are small . I decided to stay FW as its easier and cost effective, but as you may have guessed I have questions.
How long does it take DPs to become less shy? The two I've got are a bit skittish, but there is nothing that I can determine that is wrong with them and my tank conditions as I've said are clean and cycled properly. I put my finger in there today with a mealworm and they started to come closer to it, but no luck and I ran out of time on my work lunch break.

I see from multiple sources that they enjoy Bloodworms as their staple food, but what else would be a good set to feed?

Mine settled down quite quickly, only a few days before they were zooming around at the front of the tank
I feed mainly bloodworm, but they do enjoy hunting the occasional little snail

Awesome, so bloodworms and the occasional weekly batch of snails?

Also, do they tend not to be as social when they're in a pair as mine were sold in?
