Hi,
Just got four 2" GSP's from my LFS. They are currently in freshwater as they were in the shop. They are with a few cory's and a plec for now.
I understand it's beneficial to raise the SG of the tank as the GSP's mature. When would you suggest i start, at what rate and to what level. What type of salt do i use? Do you think the cory's and plec will tolerate the change or is a new tank the order of the day?
FEEDING?
As soon as they were released into the tank my quite large snail population was wiped out to ZERO!! It was great to see them hunting. I have frozen blood worm, frozen brine shrimp and frozen cichlid mix for them. How much do you feed and how often? Can you feed live foods intended for reptiles such as crickets and mealworms?
Thanks in advance

Then come back with questions on any clarification needed. That is an excellent article on GSP care in captivity, likely the best available on the web or in print.

That's quite a bioload added to 1 tank! Keep a very close eye on the water parameters & do large water changes accordingly. Start preparing/saving for a 120g tank for them.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
