Hello everyone - its been a long time since I have visited the puffer forum. Unfortunately work requires I travel a ridiculous amount and rarely had time in the last several months to post....Anyway - I am finally getting my first A. Reticularis this Saturday!! Previously I had asked if anyone had one and it seemed that there were a few known to have had one at some point but none currently. They are a very common puffer in terms of range and probably often mislabled as A. Hispidus although I had the place I am receiving him from send me several pics and its 100% an A. Reticularis!
So just had to share and will post Pics when I receive him...in the mean time since I have been gone - is there anyone out there who has one? Any good advice? From my profile you can see I am veru familiar with puffers and have quite a few but they are often very different when it comes to eating...
So any advice or other lucky A. Reticularis owners...let me know! Thanks all and I look forward to posting regularly again.

Beautiful fish they go almost gold in colour when they reach adult. Only advice big tank lots of water changes they get big. Within 3 yrs mine went from 4" to 10" and then about 18"/19" within the next few years, slowed down after that. Yes mine was sold to me as a A Hispidus.

I noticed everyone that has indicated that have one is outside the USA. I have never in the last 5 yrs at least see one for sale - well finally found one and he is doing great - eats everything. I do have several big tanks as I have mentioned before so he can grow up and have plenty of room...I'll post pics soon - also just got another A. Mappa@ - think they are my favorite
