I have not heard of a difference in the color of rams for puffers and which is better. Mine are brown w/ a reddish body. They are not the prettiest snail I have seen. The black ones might be what is considered blue? I have heard of red, blue and brown rams. Personaly If I had them to choose to breed from I would pick the color I liked best.

It is just a color morph and does not reflect a difference in nutritional value
Job 12:7-10. But ask the animals, and they will teach you; or birds of the air
and they will tell you; or speak to the earth and it will teach you; or let the fish
of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the
lord has done this. In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all
mankind.

Though, I believe Red Ramshorns don't eat plants, whereas the others do... could just be a bit of a myth, though.
