Referencing GSP questions in stead of thread jacking

so removing my sponge filters when the y finally go marine is a good plan, and pulling the filter pack from my tank is also useful.

also, right now my 2 are under 2 inches, and are in a 30... I am looking at moving them up to their 55 when i move in a month and a half.

If this acceptable or will this hinder them? I am doing the 50% weekly changes now, and i have been keeping nitrates down to 20 lately, which is good considering tap water is running at about20.

That should be fine for them IMO.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.
