They like me not watching them.
They're little voyeurs and will watch everything I do intently, but when I look up, they will turn away "O, what an interesting leaf. It looks alot like the one I slept on last night. Let me stare at it til you go back to your homework"

Job 12:7-10. But ask the animals, and they will teach you; or birds of the air
and they will tell you; or speak to the earth and it will teach you; or let the fish
of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the
lord has done this. In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all
mankind.

My puffers like when I turn their lights out but leave the room lights on.

As with most others...feeding time! One of my F8s hogs the food put in and then when I try to put more in a different area for the second puffer, he flies off to that as well
It's definately the most smiley puffer I have ever seen

yeah, that's weird, every time I up the SG on my tank, Bonzo seems to swim right in to the flow of the water I'm pouring in to the tank, even though the SG of the water going in is quite high (it does even out as it circulates though) he gets all excited, well it looks like excitement to me LOL

Re: what do you do that your puffers really like?
thats exactly what both of my puffers did! i definately did not look like they were distressed or anything. their colors got super bright; bellies were so white and clean. the fade from green to white go super light. then they spent the next couple of hours buzzing all over their tanks like everything was shiny and new!
also, my puffs like to "find" snails. i hide them in nooks and crannies and such. granted they always crawl away, but the puffs have fun looking around their tank for snacks

Mine loves it when i do naked water changes, seriously. I don't know if he is thinking FOOD, but let me tell you, he would definitely be biting off more than he could chew!!!

Re: what do you do that your puffers really like?
I don't do naked water changes, but he seems to react differently when I put my dressing gown on or take it off... like he's thinking... "you freak, why are you taking your skin off and then putting a different one back one... you nut job"
Re: what do you do that your puffers really like?
Just to clarify, it's not some fetish thing. I just do most of my water changes after i have had a shower.
