As always, entries are being accepted for next month's contest and entry instructions can be found here. The winner of each month's competition will be entered into the Puffer of the Year contest, in a battle royal for a gift certificate to The Puffer Store!
Please note I am setting up the layout slightly different this time around, and attaching the files instead of uploading and linking. Each image below will open a larger image of the entry when you click on the thumbnails, so be sure to check them out in their full sized glory!

Entry #4:
All though my owner isn't a very good photographer, I would like to join next month POTM contest.
My owner loves watching me when I dig into the sand. But it always ends with her taking out her camera, so I don't do it very often. So this is me:
Name: Koseklumpen (means cosy lump)
Species: Monotrete suvattii
Age: Sorry, I don't know how to count, and my owner does not know my age either
Size: About 10 cm, plus my tail. At least that's what my owner says. But she has also told me that she is very bad at measuring size only by looking.
Location: In my tank, of course. Under my favorite root. But usually I hide at another end, so you can't see me.
Title of the pic: I'm not here... Love, Koseklumpen
Entry #5:
- Species carinotetraodon lorteti
- Name of Puffer gir
- Age ?

Entry #6:
My figure 8 puffer, Peter
- Species: Tetraodon biocellatus
- Age: 2 years in captavity
- Size: 3.5 inch
- 29 gallon bow-front, brackish, planted
Entry #7:
- Species: Tetraodon Fluviatilis
- Name: Pickles
- Age: Pretty young, but I don't know the exact age, and he's only about 1 month old to me, so add another 6 months-ish, and we'll say 7 months as a guess.
- Size: 1.5 inches (roughly)
- Brief description: Pickles is one of the two baby Ceylons in my 55 gallon tank. His inhabitants include Allakazam (the other Ceylon), a Knight Goby, and a Red Clawed Crab. He enjoys begging for food, long strolls on the sandy floor, and staying up late while watching me on the computer. His favourite food also appears to be anything that fits into his mouth, hehe.
Entry #8:
Pjotter - Hairy puffer
Species: Tetraodon Baileyi
Age: unknown
Sixe: about 10cm
30 Gallon planted tank. Sand substrate, some stones and driftwood.
I only have this fellow for a few days, but he already stole my heart.
