This photo is Mr. Busy, our Lined Burrfish (Chilomycterus schoepfi) . He was named for his perpetual activity. He never sits still on the bottom or hides to rest. He does, at times, hover near the bottom front of his tank where he watches us, the goldfish tank across from his, or the TV.

Thanks, Rocco, I think we will. :)
Both Jazzy and Mr. Busy are cute as can be, but Jazzy is the cutest of all our puffers. She's mostly a creamy white, has erect spines covering her entire body like a pincushion, her eyes are enormous, and she looks at visitors with her eyes straight ahead like headlights. Here's another photo with more accurate color, and which may also push your cute button. :)

Edit: The dw just informed me Jasmine is a she. :roll:

She really is very light colored like in the photo. What especially caught our eye was the orange and yellow pattern on her back. We've never seen a poofer like her before.

We believe Jasmine is a Cyclichthys orbicularis, sometimes called a Birdbeak Burrfish. We have only seen 3 ever at 2 LFS, and all 3 came in accidentally when the LFS's ordered regular Porcupine Puffers. The first LFS had one nfs in their display tank (the head sw guy said the fish was his pride and joy and he was going to take it home when it outgrew the display tank), the second had Jasmine and another larger guy for sale, and we chose Jasmine because of her unusual peach and yellow spots.
A = Anne, R =Robert

There has to be a point.

I listed our fishes names in my sig, however we also lost two. One DP whose name was Phyllis because she was fat and shy and an oto whose name was Bissel who died the day after we got him. He was a big oto and probably old too but he was pale from the LFS and never really recovered... obviously.
