yea from what ive heard you have to get into the marine puffers to get a full puff commonly right? or well commonly compared to freshwater puffers.
60g with 2 angels, 1 yoyo loach, Upside down catfish, Clown Loach, 1 leopard Ctenopoma, 12 black skirt tetras and a L201 Pleco

I think certain lurker puffers are known for it, too.

u would need loads of dps in a planted 75g just to even stand a chance of seeing them lol

I'm amazed that I found a deal like this. I know if I pass it up I'll never get one like that again. Sure sounds fishy

I've been thinking a lot about how small they will be in a tank that size. I think size is subjective to how we each see things so 1" isn't tiny to me. Certainly small, but not exactly tiny. Different body shape, but years ago I had a 30gal full of guppies and ya know they're small. The tank will be in the dinning room where I work a lot and granted from the spot I'll be working at I'll probably see brown peas floating around at least until they're full size.
Our main thing is sitting about a 1' from the tank at night when the house is quiet and all but tank lights are off. Since the DP's beg for food I figure as soon as hubby or I sit down they will all be rushing about begging for food and we'll see them well. Of course we sit in front fo the tank several times throughout the day as well. I think it will be awesome sitting there watching the behavior that Nick told me about, that info really excited me. It's all about that close up view and not a view from across the room. We literally move chairs to the front of the tank just for fish watching. Right now when it's late evening I'll sit on the floor and peek through the bottoms of plants, under the coral and watch Harry stalk his shrimp.
So I "think" their size will be ok, but as always I'm open to opinions and advice.
I really wouldn't want fish that I hardly ever saw. That would be a BIG bummer.
