Sorry, but 30 gallons is minimum each, so you're gonna have to upgrade!

Re: my fresh water puffers
actualy they both will be fine in there 20s im upgradeing the bronze at one point but c. lortiti has the same requirements as c. irribusco (sp) and will only get about 2 - 3 inches and a 20 will be fine ( but over time might get a upgrade to a bigger tank wiht another c. lortiti

Well, PufferPunk keeps one in a 20 Long, but I'd suggest 30. Either way, these guys are pretty active.Ikkle1 wrote:Sorry, but 30 gallons is minimum each, so you're gonna have to upgrade!

Re: my fresh water puffers
i'd have to agree with jimi, a 20 would be fine for a lortiti, a 30 would be nice but then at that rate wouldnt a 1000 be nice too? i mean a larger tank is always nicer but if your watching nitrates and making sure they dont get to high and do proper water changes i think a 20L would be suffecient.

Nice looking fish. The gravel is pretty. They don't have any variety of FW puffers here in TN near me
. Ordering online would be a lasty resort for me.

Re: my fresh water puffers
lol groove, I know what you mean. I cut WAY BACK on guild wars just to learn about keeping fish and enjoy them. Another plus is I love to redecorate the tanks. It's a nice change but I still have time for some gaming. My husband bought mario cart for the wii tonight. I bought more new very large plants, rock, new decor for my new 20g and other misc stuff.

Another example! Since I got my 100G, I have only played like 2 days worth of Mario Kart DS total, and I have not bought Mario Kart Wii yet b/c I am saving up for it.

Re: my fresh water puffers
Yeah at 50 a dollars a pop that is not pocket change. I spent 150.00 on the fish stuff and still need to order my stealth heater, plant substrate, salt water mixing kit, salt and a couple of other things
Good thing I have credit.
I checked my receipt from the fish store. It looks like they over charged me. I payed about $65.00 for 5 pieces of I guess it is slate, 5 pieces of glass rock and 3 pieces of some thing I can make a cave rock with. They need to explane that.
