Algae eaters with GSP's

Post by PuffnStuff »

I have a Chinese algae eater that is starting to get aggressive. Can I move him to my 55g Brackish (1.008sg) with 1 soon to be 2 GSP's. Can the AE survive in that salinity?

Probably not without hurting it's health, and the risk of mutual mutilation is too great IMO - the CAE might suck out your puffers eyeball latching onto him in the middle of the night while he sleeps, or the GSP might get annoyed by the CAE during the day and decide to kill it.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.

Thanks guys. I definitely will not try to experiment with algae eaters and GSP's.
