valentini tank question
so the other day at my lfs i saw a baby valentine for 25 bucks and i feel in love with him and seeing as how my salt water tank is not off the ground yet i can and wont even think about getting one but how long could one live in a 20 long ( it would only be temporary and would eventually be in a system of some where in the ball park of 100 gallons when its moved ) im not planning on getting one till i know what im doing but i am getting one so could you help me out

They only need about 25-30 gallons each I believe, so as long as it was only some months, and wasn't a boring tank that would drive him crazy, I think it would be ok.

awesome do yo uthink he could tollorate corals or will i have to do guess and try work ( andwill he life with fish like clowns or damsels

I'm sure it'd be fine in a 20 long, but how do you plan on filtering and keeping the tank stable?
As far as corals, puffers definitely aren't "reef safe" but I'm sure there are plenty of corals they wouldn't bother. It's more the clean up crew that is incompatible.

that makes sense and im planing on keeping it stable with paranoia vigilance and a sump ( to make it more water then the tank holds ) pluse i must say i am good at keeping water clean

live rock and sand ( that reminds me if i wanted to get a new salt water tank couldnt it be as easy as gitting more base rock and adding it to my other tank till its live rock then moveing it over ( i would still by live rock but not buying so much would realy be nice)
