I GOT ONE!
We went to Pets Inc. today and they had a bunch!
So I got one.
Sorry about the bad quality of the picture. I don't want to use flash on him yet.
His name is Weebo:

If you have been to Phoenix and went to Pets Inc you would know that there tanks are spotless and don't have these "pest" snails. So don't be saying that the employee is lazy and a liar. I go into Pets Inc probably once a week and that is the only fish store that I buy things at b/c the employee's care about the fish and are willing to help you.
Chin_Z : Chain stores like Petco and Petsmart are a problem. Although that particular person knew what she was talking about. There's three people at Petco here that I know have a clue about fish. And yes, Pets Inc.'s tanks are very clean. I would go there every day (well, maybe not that often ) but it's too far away. Also, then Pets Inc. is obviously not the place to get the snails I need. I need to check Petco again...sometime.
Not really upset about this. Chin just didnt read the message correctly. Yes petco and petsmart staff are not train to understand fish or other pets and they are not require to know before one gets hired. The snails comes with the plants and fish during shipment. The employee then just poor the fish in the tank usually. I see that done couple of times at petco. Also by experience most petco and petsmart i go. I see a few ramshorn snails here and there but of course some of more then the other store. Apart from that i got it FREE from a petco thats why i recommand you to do the same like i said the snails are consider pest they be happy to get rid of them. As long as the employee is willing to go look for it and pick it out one by one which they are very tiny
I hate the petsmart by my house! The people are so mean and know nothing about fish plus they never have snails! I wanted to work there but I don't think I could stand the people! I have another petsmart thats like 15 mins away and their tanks are covered in snails and they are always happy to give them to me. At Petco they never have snails believe me I have looked very closely! They must get rid of them quickly, but I always try and get them from where I used to work but she hardly ever has snails and you have to pay for them but like just a few cents. I wish I had better pet stores around me!
Ya now I know this too. I just ask here and then ask at the store. I think its funny when I tell them that they are so wrong and I even helped some puffers at walmart because of that. I actually got banned from this one petco because I bought some goldfish and I got them home and they died within hours. I was so upset and I didn't bring a water sample (since it never said I had to) so the lady told me that she wouldn't allow me to buy fish there since I was a fish killer, I couldn't believe what she was telling me! But I went in there yesterday and almost bought a starfish and no sight of that mean lady so hopefully I can spend money there now hee hee.
Oh sorry about the tank shot question, I like the tank
Quick update: He's still alive! I haven't seen him eat yet, but I've been tossing in some fd bloodworms every day. I caught him nipping at one though. And I saw him poop today! I guess that means he's eating something, right? Planning to go to Petsmart some time this week to find snails.
maybe you want to try frozen bloodworms? I've just always had better luck with frozen as opposed to FD. remember about the size of his eye on the snails.
