I just saw one of those at Marine Soultions, he was so pretty. I wanted to take him home but I don't think I have a big enough tank for him. What size tank is he in. I can't believe it was only 2 months between pictures. I'm glad my gsp have grown up too much then again I have only had them for like 2 weeks!

he's in a 60 for a bit, and then will be moved into a 100G when i come back from honeymoon in a couple of months... a move i am so not looking forward too...!
Then we will see what size he grows to and assess it from there.

With close to 10 years of experience with puffers, I have kept most species of freshwater, brackish water, and even saltwater puffers available in the trade.
He is very cute! Its amazing that he changed colors like that! I mean he went from being totally being black to being brown. The one I saw was pretty big I would saw about 7 inches or so and nice and round. I wish I could afford a 100 gallon tank!

Ya my boyfriend is going to make his own tank with his Grandfather but not out of glass. I love glass tanks but they can be expensive, well I hope to see some more pics he is beautiful!

He is maybe two inches now, and was 2-3 cm when i got him a couple of months ago... i'm hoping he'll slow down a bit as i really can't move him for another three months....
but i guess most animals grow rapidly to get past the 'small enough to get eaten' stage.. and then slow as they get up to adult size..
well i hope anyway.
