I was at Petco yesterday and they said they don't have any. Usually. I'll go to petsmart next to see if they have dp and maybe they'll give me snails. If not, from the list above, is there anything that would work?

That employee is lazy and a liar. Just look at each tank on your own. The snails usually on the side of the tank against the glas and they are very tiny. Size of a booger...lol

I got 20 snails at my LFS for $2.00.... And the lady personally went through each tank to get 'em for me.

Well, plurmaster, I have NEVER seen any snails in their tanks. And the lady there went right to one tank and said, "Here, look, this is all I have." Two huge snails. She said she had just cleaned the tanks and found only one little snail which she had already gotten rid of. So, I guess I'll just check out Petsmart and then go from there. Thanks anyways. :D

I added another plant. I think it looks kind of ugly, but the puffer would like all the hiding places right?

Yeah, that looks like a pretty epic DP tank IMO.

You tank look good!
I got all my snails as hitch hackers on the plants I bought! They are often found as eggs in plants. You should be able to find a petstore that has free snails for you! Or try to find local forum of aquarist and post an add that you want snails, I bet a lot of people are stuck with them and want to get rid of them!

I checked Petco: no puffers and no snails.
Does Petsmart have any? That's the other store close to here, and then there's Pets Inc. but that's farther...

If you are looking for puffers... most LFS have GSP,F8 and DP's but petco and petsmart usually dont carried them. Oh walmart have GSP. Now as for snails if petco or petsmart doesnt have em to give you goto aquabid.com There are seller that sells lots of ramshorn snails for cheap.
