Setting up SW tank for my GSPs

Post by kc8zwj »

I have just recently purchased a 55 gal tank and stand (only), no filter or anything yet. I need to know how I should go about setting up the tank and what I need (filter, lighting, gravel or sand, coral, ect). What creatures should I use for tank maintenance, if any? I will be moving my GSPs to this tank once it is set up and cycled. They are currently being changed over to marine in the tank that I have them in now. I am doing that gradually. I want to get this right, so any good ideas please let me know.

My best suggestion is to go here: http://reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisp ... forumid=80
to find the closest reef club to you & see who has cheap live rock & sand to sell.
