How long could a Mubu puffer be kept in a 5' x 2' x 2' 150gal tank for? How aggresive are they compaired to Fahaka puffers? Could they be kept with fish their own size or larger? Thanks, Steve.
So are you saying that I will have to do water changes more often and watch my parameters more closely? But other than that a Mubu would be fine in an aquarium that size?

Exactly one of them I've always considered to be quite a reputable shop as well, but they're selling them for £100 as a community with caution fish!!! I just hope that anyone paying that much for a fish will research them thoroughly first!!!

Puffers are unpredictable. My mbu lived several years with a pajama cat, they grew up together. One day I found just the pectoral girdle - head gone, body gone, only a slice of Synodontid with those nice sharp pectoral spines left in the tank with a well-fed puffer.
yeah mbu's are like porc puffers they should never go to just anyone. i had one come in and its still sitting round(porc that is) cause we are bout 95% that its a histrix thats been dyed. the blotches dont line up right the symmitry is off ...... so yeah anybody got a 1500 gallon tank to put him in
