my new nile puffer

Post by fishytyke »

hi folks,

fisrst off, hello, i'm new on here but not new to keeping puffers

yesterday i went to collect my new nile puffer, found on ebay off all places. I had to do a 160mile round trip but s/he is worth it.

she had been very well cared for but was getting too large for their tank, her name is sushi (he did once have a community tank, but this guy likes the taste of raw fish :D )

s/he is now in a rio 300, and had coloured up well

this is her in her old tank when i picked her up

Image

i'll post some more pick of her new digs soon

look forward to chatting to you all

neil

i've got a 6x2.5x2 waiting as and when needed, i'm just hoping that now she can strech her fins, i can get her to full size

she i venturing out more, but her old tank was very bare, and now she has lotd of wood and plants to keep her occupied, i guess it going to take some getting used to....that and my kids staring at her!!!
