I love the large Amazon Swords and then the dwarf hair grass or dwarf baby tears. Four leaf clover is fun too.
Oh and don't forget that java moss.

Re: PLANTS FOR PUFFERS
Those are all GREAT plants, but they need at least a double tube fluorescent light. If you only have one tube, anubias, wisteria, and java fern are good. If you have two, those are awesome. If you have 3, sky's the limit, you can do just about any plant you want.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.

Water sprite would grow pretty well too, no?

I love watersprite, it grows even faster than Java moss with proper lighting!

hi
watersprite and the java fern are very easy to maintain, do please try to use real plants, after all you bought a real fish !!
please DO, DO, DO try real plants, it is easier than you think, the tank, the water and the fish will be better for it !

Re: PLANTS FOR PUFFERS
Petco should have most of these plants, but learn to Id them before you go to look. they most likely won't be label (other than "aquatic plant") and the staff won't know which plants are which (unless you're really lucky). good luck though.
also, if you have a LFS that will work with you, they could possibly order the plants you want if they don't have them.

Re: PLANTS FOR PUFFERS
Thats a cool website and wide selection but the problem is shipping is too expensive for next day air. Unless i buy alot of plants from them.
