I walked in and flicked my ceylon tank's light and to my shock he actually stayed white! Rather than instantly changing to black as is his normal trick when you turn lights on...

so i quickly grabbed my camera and got two shots off before he returned to his grumpy self!

So, ta da.... white bellied!

they change colour. Sometimes they shine bright blue, othertimes they shine orange...


love the way they swivel.... you know when he's looking at you, and when he's studying something else. :-)

He did it again last night when i flicked his light on (to check for health issues)

He stayed white for about 5 minutes, so maybe he's finally getting used the having a light...

leave it off mostly though, no point needlessly stressing him out. If he's happy, i'm happy. :-)

nice pick but youres is a GSP, the original pic is a ceylon ;)

Can I just say guys by rescuing the poor fish you are only fuelling the market and the LFS will get more in. If you stop buying them then maybe, just maybe they won't order such vast numbers
