I was told by 2 people that they have had their GSP over 2 years and they are still about 3".
I don't know what size tank they have. I was wondering has anyone had a GSP that reached 6"
or close to it? I've only had mine for about 5 months and it looks like they are still growing,
mine are 3" and 3.5". Just curious.

My GSP is about 1.5 inches long including the tail. I've had him since May '07

Wow, he must have been really small when you first got him. Or has he grown at all?

Have had our puffers about 4 months. One was about an inch the other was almost an inch and a half. They both have grown almost a half inch.

I've had Milton since October. He is probably 2" including the tail... maybe not even that big though. My bf says he has grown but I can't really see it. I've also been wondering how fast they will grow...
I know pufferpunk has some full grown ones, maybe she will see this thread and give us some insight!

I have read most full grown gsp's are in the 5 & 6 inch range but I have also read reports of gsp's 8 inches big! To bad there were no pictures.

I bought mine at 2" & it took them 2 years to grow to 6" (without tail).

Wow 2 years!
I guess we got our answer, they are slow growers. Does anyone else out ther have a 6" GSP? Post us a picture if you do, we would love to see it.
Keep those post coming, I'd love to know how fast yours are growing!
BTW: Thanks PP that's really intresting. We all learned something today.
