Wooooo, I *finally* got my figure eight puffers! They're a little big, about 1.5 inches, but they're sooooo cute! Me and my GF each picked one, so we have our own! :D Tanya named her's Alakazam and I've named mine Pickles (for now, at least). I will post up pictures soon enough! Also found a Knight Goby, so he's chillin' with the puffs.

I also had a gracious donation of rocks, so I'm going to make a nice setup before I take a full tank picture. Also, I had a big bag of tiny shells and spread it all across the sand to give them something to hunt for. I hope that keeps them entertained while the tank is kinda bare, hehe!

They're so funny, though! They just try to bite everything, and it's so cute.

Ooooooh boy... this is what I get for trusting a pet store... turns out I didn't get Figure 8s... I actually got Ceylons. :shock: *Sigh* I really didn't want to put the tank to high-end brackish :(

Also:
So, my 4" Knight Goby has disappeared... I looked all over the floor, but I don't see him. The only thing I can think of is that he's hiding inside a huge shell I have... but he really would have had to squeeze to get in there. Does anyone know if they can bury themselves in sand? It's the only other thing I can think of... :(

I've never seen my Gobys dig into the sand, but in my experience they are extremely good hiders... I wouldn't give up just yet.

Oh I'm not disappointed with the puffers! I'm just a bit disappointed that I won't be able to keep them the way I wanted to, that's all. :)
