I have a hit and miss LFS when it comes to snails... I wanted a Apple snail for over a month and finally got one. My LFS just has little interest in snails all together. My wife is not to thrilled at the idea of breeding them either. When I say not to thrilled, I mean she NO! LOL. Anyway that being said I was searching for an alternative and came across this. I don't think these would work but you guys tell me if these would be worth taking a look at.

Re: Silly Question
Hm...but does the shell of the snail stay crunchy to help keep the teeth down on the puffers?

"cooked in the can to maintain nutritional value"
Hmmm... that doesn't make any sense...

Re: Silly Question
Those are some pretty snails! Mini-mystery snails are the ones you want.

Re: Silly Question
"unshelled snails"
... it defeats the purpose of feeding snails, they have no shell, hence nothing crunchy to keep those teeth worn down. nice idea though
most LFS are more than willing to "give" away the little snails that come in on plants.

Re: Silly Question
Yuna, I'm gonna have to keep that link. Some awesome little snails, and I'm getting a new tank soon (20g tall with hood, light, filter, heater, and bubble wall) for $25!
I wanna get a Ram or two maybe, and I might wanna get a prettier snail to throw in there.
